Clio 182 online price... is this good

I have rang 2 online dealers... for a quote on a Inferno Red, Clio 182 with both Cup packs, UK registered... (pre-registered... 1 mile on the clock)

Motorpoints quote with free delivery is £12,500

New-Car-Discount.com quote £12,500 (close enough for me to collect)

4 - 6 week delivery for both £500 deposit.

Is there anywhere any better please?

Cheers folks.

I think Lloyds TSB Car select where cheapest for non import cars when I brought mine. 11900 with met paint and cup packs was the best I could find.

I got mine from a dealer for that price and that was 6 months ago. Personally I think you could do better if you shopped around.

Thanks everyone! TSB price is the best I have heard of, I will give them a call. I deff am after a UK registered car so thanks for someone pointing out that its a Import! I looked at 1 year old 182s... there are no Inferno at all that are cheaper than a Brand new 182 with all cup packs on there! and 1 year old 182s with less than 10k miles are around £10.5 - 11k so not much of a saving on a used car.

Only thing I am a bit concerned about now, is if Inferno isnt that popular, does that mean.. its going to be harder to re-sell?? Is it that its not a colour that takes many peoples taste? As that could mean a big loss when re-selling comes along over a more popular colour such as Artic or Black for e.g.

Please can anyone help to reply to this for me with ur opinions? Thanks.

suprised motorpoint could do one in inferno?

First of all... he said, sorry, Inferno is only available on the 182 Cup until I insisted that there was this option for the 182 sport, he came back and agreed there was after all.

When I rang Elelphant for the insurance quote, they also had no idea about the Clio 182, they said are you sure its not a 172? There is no such car as a Clio 182! The came back and said there is a Clio 182 buts its an Import!! Then after I mentioned my brother bought his my Renault a few months ago, she came back again and agreed there was suck a UK car!

Motorpoint will be import, but, it will still be UK registered.

Only difference will be, no alarm - no locking wheel nuts - no window etching, all in all about £230 of kit.

No real savings but if they have 1 in the colour you want then you can have it now, and not have to wait around for delivery.

Bearing in mind that August is fast approaching, when Renault shut down for the whole month, then delivery times from the factory will be about 3 months.

I got my 182 through Lloyds car select, just over 12k with both cup packs and metallic paint. Their interest rates are good too and the whole process went really smoothly. Ill definately use them again. I even got £100 cashback because I have a lloyds bank account.
