Clio 182 radiator help needed

Car  Renault Clio 182 FF
Hi, following on from one of mossys threads I bought myself a new valeo radiator part no 732474 and air con condenser as mine was dust.

Stripped it off to swap the fan over and noticed a hole halfway down the side that does not appear on my existing radiator

Anyone got an idea if I have been sent the wrong radiator or is I can get some form of blanking plug for this rad?

Correct Radiator for a 172 Cup

Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for the correct Radiator for my Cup? I was going to buy a Nissens one but they all seem to be for cars with air con, obviously the cup doesn't have that. I was looking at a Direnze alloy one but the non air con version says its for the Ph1 only...

half way down there is a picture of the nissen rad with a thread detail of M22 x 1.5, just looked for a blanking plug and found this as an example -

Did anybody manage to source a blanking plug? I'm in the same position and that ebay link is sold out :(
 
I bought a Valeo rad - all fits perfectly quality is good.

I used this blanking plug which fitted and sealed perfectly - I also put a smear of silicon gasket around the threads to make doube sure (as im never going to take it out). Hope that helps.


PS I don't trust the plastic plugs and believe a few people have had issues with them blowing out.

These are also cheaper than the plastic jobs or were when I was looking
