One on the left is a car

The one on the right is a homosexuals implement

found some vinyl so put on a sunstrip quickly, turned out pretty well.

Also painted the alloy recaro mounts which turned out to be a rather long winded process of sanding and prepping. Again , turned out fairly well so far

Little car did good last night at Donington for my first track day in it. I was concerned on the drive down as it didn't feel right at all the way it was rotating - when i checked the type pressures the fronts were 38 and one of the rears was 8. So sorted that and had some steady laps. Feels a lot more lively and frantic than the meg and the 197 but did had a couple of understeer moments, specifically at craners but i think it was due to cold tyres.

I did really enjoy the session and felt a lot more confident towards the end once I'd figured out the handling.

I enjoyed our little stint, I'm glad you lifted before craners. I went through there a few times without lifting at all through that entire section, and coming into that right hander made me f**king poo myself

I did it twice, after the second time I just kept it sensible and lifted a bit before to scrub off some speed 😂

Yeah was great - i had my daughter in the car or i would have kept up with you 😊

First few laps of craners i slighty touched the kerb on the left and it just seemed to tramline me off to the right with no grip!

Its such a great section that, must be one of the best of all UK tracks.

I did wonder why you weren't pushing it hard, after watching you drive the Megane I did think you were going slower than usual 😂

Craners are nuts. When I did Donnington a few years back I remember looking down half way through them at the Speedo and going “f**k me it says 110” and then massive lift off oversteer at the bottom as I wasn’t concentrating into to the last corner as I did not believe at all I was doing 110, to the point where I was planning how I was getting home that day while sliding towards the barrier. Brown pants moment. But yes, I know I was nowhere near 110.
Looking at everyone’s threads makes me miss out but I had already booked the Nurburgring this weekend. Glad everyone had a good time!

When I had tuition at Donington I was told not to lift off through Craners, the one time I did the car was very unsettled & the instructor just said I told you🤷‍♂️

Thinking of refurbing the 2118s, what we thinking colour wise?

silver? bronze? leave as is?

I'd go white but i've already got some white evo corse with PS3s that i might fit for a bit of road driving.

For track use I'd keep them as they are (or have two sets of wheels, one for road use)

If you're driving it on the road regularly, go for a different colour so you don't look like a try hard knobhead.
