Can’t you use the rocket cover off the dead engine?

Yes but I don’t have a gasket to hand and it’s all going in today.

I swear I've read somewhere that the F4R cam/rocker covers are matched to the head due to the inbuilt cam journals. Is that right or a myth?

Cam covers are matched to cylinder head due to cam journals, so cant just swap.

Its cambelt, cam pulleys off and anaerobic flange sealant for the gasket, fairly big job.

Id paint that in high temp silver, or remove and aqua blast.

I’m gonna get hate for this but i’m hoping everything slots in nicely so i can keep the slam panel which means i don’t have to put pins through the bonnet.

Any ideas on this fellas?

Hoping someone can help here, trying to set the TPS position for a new ITB install.

When connected to K90 the software reads maximum value of 250 with throttle closed and goes down with throttle open. So it’s reading the opposite.

Anyone got any ideas what we have done wrong?

Verify wiring is correct, id imagine its pretty simple +5v, signal and sensor ground.

If correct, i imagine you should be able to reset the tps in the software to 0%. Failing that is it possible to invert the sensor reading on the settings.

Nice one thanks, will double check wiring tomorrow. Was fried at end of day so need a clear head to go through it again.

Id imagine if +5v and ground are arse first, it will give inverted readings.

Swapping neg and positive makes no difference.

I’m using these diagrams here.

So orange in pin 1
Grey pin 6
Pink pin 5

The only config that works so the tps can be adjusted is

Orange pin1
Pink pin2
Grey pin6

Only thing i can think of is the tps sensor with kit is supposed to be mounted on other side of bodies. Can’t test as aircon is fitted.

Yep

Beginning to think i will have to buy a lh tps.

Decided to bite the bullet and buy a Jenvey RH/LH TPS and lump f**king around. £250 mind so bit of a shitter.

Idle running but paused for TPS and back plate for accelerator pedal as kit doesn’t have one - another £100.

Itb balanced and runs

Any ideas on why this purple relay is buzzing its tits off? Fan relay. Everything else is perfect so unsure if it’s the relay itself or earth.
