would rather get from a dealer.. i know it cost a little more but i have always bought private and ended up with either a write-off or faults with car after getting it home.

Without getting robbed too much i just wanted a guide of what i shouldnt pay over from a dealer for a 182 with both cup packs. ! thanks

private every time! Save a bundle, and will be under warranty if you buy 55 plate so any issues you can still get resolved, why go dealer route???

I see why people buy from dealers etc for the comeback, but if it's 55 (aren't 55 plate 182s a bit rare?) plate as someone said it'll still have a little Renault warranty remaining. But, you pays your money, you takes your choice :) Do you just want to buy from a main Renault dealer, or is any trader ok?

Autotrader shows, when I searched for 2005 Clio 182, up to 3 years old, under 40k miles, trade listed, and blue, that there is 29 cars available. Prices range from £6,925 to a frankly laughable £9,999 (Sutton Park Renault - 2nd top is 9,995 at a VW dealer). Some of them are Cups's of course, as since you said "with cup packs" I'm assuming you want the FF with all the luxurys and toys - which IMHO is a much better choice than the Cup, as they're the same price now, exactly the same performance, but you get climate/xenons/RenaultSport seats etc :)

Personally, wouldn't pay over £7k for one, which would be ok, as Lookers (Seat and Kia) of Stockport have this one -

Now, it doesn't say it's a Cup, but it doesn't mention the toys. If someone can tell you whether those front lights are Xenons, I know there is a way to tell the difference, then you'd know if it was a FF or a Cup for sure.

Mines a 55 plate , was only 2 weeks off being an 06 plate but i needed a car so had to get it registered asap lol .

Personally i'd go private , it's a buyers market out there and alot of cars seem to be well underpriced so there are bargains to be had if you do your homework and have a little patience .

Tis a cup!

Rear bench doesnt have headrests, plus has little cup badges on the pillars.

Ah well :) Thought I'd found an awesome one, with Recaros for a second - http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uv...s/136155/136155&id=200825312649384&distance=0

But as you'll see, it's Arctic.

There is another, but it's 7,995, deffo a FF, but it has silver wheels, despite saying Cup Suspension in the write up... And that's it for FF Racing Blues fitting the criteria I mentioned. Well actually, there is two at Evans Halshaw, no photos, one is £8,691, just says blue. And then there is another, £8,991, described as "Renault Clio 2.0 16v Rsport Trophy - Colour: Blue" - so you can imagine how much credibility I'm giving that dealer in my mind... It's definately not saying "Trophy Blue" either - I just thought I'd mention that as a trader on pistonheads was selling one that was apparently 'Trophy Blue' - I've never heard of that, so I checked on the RSport Heritage website and it was indeed not a colour name for the 182. Ad here if anyone cares - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/585143.htm. Speaking of pistonheads, there is one Racing Blue for sale from a trader, both cup packs, 42k miles, but it's a 2004 and is £8,995! Oh dear :)

Definately a 182 is it you want dude? What's the budget? Considered a 197...?
