Clio 2 back box

The standard back box is dead on my 99 Clio 1.6 16v.

Id like to get a stainless steel, but dont want anything noisy.

Both Scorpion and Remus make a back box for my model,

anyone have experience of either ?

Anywhere else to try local (Herts) aside from Xtreme / R-Tec / Elite ?

I dont want one of these Predator wake the neighbourhood things.

106 back in 94, Punto in 96, Clio in 99

R-Tec and Xtreme both want to sell me the Scorpion.

Whats the tailpipe on your Remus one ?

I have a k-tec exhaust, similar design to Toms but is cat-back, and is quite loud (though im used it now). It costs around £300.

rob the exhaust cost me £201

is a completely different price to the 172 exhaust

the k-tec systems are looud, and very boomy at motorway speeds

they arnt that bad bambam, hear robs at a constant high rev and wid the windows up and music on average volume it was ok

Yeah i did a rough price to include fitting..

It doesnt seem that boomy to me, though maybe i tolerate it more, being the bad boy that i am

yes i have an induction kit, but as with all induction kits on the 1.2 16v it makes sod all difference in noise

the exhaust is just stupidly loud and you cant hear a thing from the induction kit

it does make sum diff-ive heard wid and widout an induciton kit and zorst-mayb ur used 2 it

for silent systems

remus (renowned for their subtleness)
devil (from my experience) ; or
magnex (always nice and quiet - unless you de-cat the system)

are probably your best bet

tried it with and without induction kit, no difference
