Clio 2 v MarkIV Fiesta

  clio2 2001 1.9dti
From my experience the Clio2 is much more durable than the MarkIV Fiesta of the same era. I've owned both with similar mileage but the Fiesta was terribly rust prone and the suspension and steering parts were an ongoing maintenance hassle. My Clio is bullet proof in comparison and no rust either. Just looking at the front suspension arm on the Clio for instance, it has two stabilizing rods from chassis to lower arm. This must alleviate a lot of load off the the bushes in the lower arms preventing lateral movement. Without exaggeration, the best car I've owned.
