I'm new here so wanted to introduce myself, and also ask a boring but essential question. I'm not a Clio 200 owner yet, but am just about to place an order for one - I live in Switzerland and it seems about the most fun car you can get without spending a fortune, and also that the fun can be accessed at lower speeds - important here where speed limits are really strictly enforced. In any case, I'm about to spec the car up, and want to specify Recaro seats. The dealer has told me that baby/child seats cannot then be put on the front seats if Recaro's are specified, meaning that the rear seats are the only option - which might be a pain. I've got another car for carting my wife and our 6 month old son around in, but also need to have the option of putting them both in the clio. Anyone else on here have the Recaro's and a baby / small child, and know whether what I've been told by the dealer is correct? Is it really true that a baby/child seat won't work with the Recaro's? - meaning that the back seat is the only option?
