Clio Carpet torn......

Our 2004 Clio has a tear in the carpet in the drivers footwell. It is roughly where the heel of your shoe might go, but in all honesty, quite a bit further back. I've looked and looked and just can't see how its happened.

Is this a Clio trait? Has anyone else had it happen? Not quite sure how we're going to get it fixed, but it' driving me bonkers!! LOL.

My 02 Clio doesnt have the same problem !!

Have you tried carmats as a temporary measure??

Not sure on the fixing, Renault would probably charge you a fortune though!!

yea had one on a 54 plate 182 with that kind of tear
