Hey guys/girls

Had loads and loads of s**t tranna get this 172 cup, from the seller to getting the loan to buy it. Now im faced with another dilemma. Just been offered a position as an Apprentice mechanic, and wont be able to keep the car due to the money il be on........... F**K!!!!

Looks like im back to my 1.0ltr Saxo

1) think long-term mate.

if it's a pukka appenticeship, you could easily be in a mint late 182 in a year or two with a few years no claims under your belt!

2) do you need a car at all? if it's feasible to cope without (a 10 mile commute on a racing bike is a cracking way to stay fit - I used to take 30 mins in the car and 30-35 on the bike)

Even a Saxo 1.0 is gonna cost you a few hundred a month - a fair chunk of that money could go into a 182 account!

if you're over 19 they have to pay you minimum wage. not the minimum apprentice wage.

whos the apprenticeship with? If its main dealer then its not worth doing imo. best get yourself into a specialist as you will learn how to properly solve faults not the plug the computer in and find out.

Most prob`s going to go for it and speak to you guys in a few years lol. The Clio i was going to buy was a 2002 172 cup, bodywork mint and had 29k on the clock..... £5000

Thats why im so pi**ed off!

What company was it with mate?? BAE Systems by any chance. I'm in an apprenticeship with them at the moment.
