Clio RenaultSport 182- Liquid Yellow?

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong area, I'm new and working out the site. I'm simply looking for a little advice and opinions on a car I have viewed today.

So there is a 182 for sale in my local area and after being impressed of the ad on eBay, I decided to have a real look.

This is it..

The car looked great; I was just as impressed in the real as by the ad. The seller seemed nice enough and was happy to show me the vast amount of service history. He told me it was a rare car and only 73 were made. I love this, but is it true?!

I'm really keen on the car and it seems to tick all the right boxes.

Any opinions on the car? Any advice?

73 in Liquid Yellow is indeed correct.

How much does the seller want for it?

Why would it of had 2 new cam belts etc in the space of a year?

The only time cambelts get done a second time is if it was done wrong the first time.

or engine rebuild.

Does a waterpump need belt replacement after? That's listed on the second one but not the first

possibly- although I doubt you would do the dephaser pulley again.

As for Cams yep possibly, but same garage 1 year after indicates same owner- & non specialist- probably not.

Owner could just comment on here.

Looks lovely, not sure I would care too much about the engine having two belts really given how easy they are to just lob another one in.

Does seem like strong money for a clio over 100K though, I know its a nice colour but even still...

THIS ^^^ Would concern me too TBH if you go cheap s**t on tyres what else can you not be bothered with doing properly !
