u think wrong
Cool!
I'll believe that when I see it!Working for Renault UK I have been lucky enough to see some "proper" photos of the next gen RS models, and I think all you neighsayers will be silenced when the next models come out, they are all really nice looking in my eyes - the Twingo too.
I may be biased but I think the new generation of Renault's coming through are in general really nice, Magane Coupe, Lagune Coupe etc...lovely looking cars and now are really well screwed together too.

I know what i'll be sticking with tbh!!!!
I take all the JD power results with a pinch of salt. The expectation levels of someone buying a 25k BMW will be far higher than someone buying a 10k Renault. The BMW see's any problem with the car as a bigger let-down than the Renault owner. They are mate, the amount of warranty work has almost halved in the past few years and in the German JD power survey several of Renault's new models have been in the top 3 for quality ahead of German built cars! The new Laguna, Megane, Clio, Twingo, Koleos and soon to be new Espace too are all very well made cars - after a LOT of time and investment spent on quality.
Until the dealers are capable of dealing with the expectations of RS customers, I'll always be unhappy about going in. Sadly my next RS will have warranty, so I might not get a choice!I'm not buying the improved quality story until times proves it to be so. Better quality plastics does not mean better build quality. Torn chairs is just one issue that springs to mind. Rusted subframe covers. What next - melted steering wheels?
They're lovely cars but I'll believe the improved quality when I experience it. Has the quality of the dealers improved? Ergo does the c*ntstomer actually still have to explain that the intervals are not 18 months, and that the aux belt DOES need changing? I doubt it TBPFH.

I would like to see a specialist person in each dealer for RSs...that will be something I endorse when I get an opportunity to. Not necessarily a person who only sells RSs, but a salesperson who is trained a lot for RSs and takes care of all RS customers. Would people think that is a good idea?
I kind of agree aboutthe dealers mate so sympathise with you there...I went in to mystery shop one and they didn't really have a clue about the RS range. The thing she was trying to sell it on was the alloy pedals!!! Not exactly the reason we buy RSs for now...!

When are we going to see these on the Showroom floors may time is it ?
i would go back to renault, but the service and the dealerships just really put me off. such piss poor service and the dealerships are so cheap inside.
much prefer bmw now, can actually get decent service, usually a fitty at the reception, nice coffee and a sandwich in some cases! Awesome imo.

All very well and good, but you are paying for it with the extra £20 an hour or so labour charges.......
Also just to add, Brand is right about the Build. I've had my 197 for 16 months and tbf its taken a good beating (once warm). After owning x2 Mk2 RS Clios for the last near 5 years, the MK3 still feels super solid. Its not ratted its self to bits yet at 32k, only the other day i was cruising back from the gf's late at night with the radio off, no rattling roofliners or windows/dash. Win tbh
TLC. A new mini would cost far less than a 197 to service over 3-5 years. All very well and good, but you are paying for it with the extra £20 an hour or so labour charges.......
