Clio seems down on power

I was on my private runway doing a 0-60 run against a Suzuki Swift sport (1.6 125bhp) and I was only just ahead of it at 60mph which we both thought was odd, the Swift has an induction kit only and I have a ph1 airbox and 15" wheels.

Any idea whether that is normal or if my car has some sort of issue and what that could be?

it did also run out of water shortly afterwards as I noticed the temp gauge going rather high.

It's due a service anytime now really.

I think the swift is a bit lighter, I think they are fantastic and would have over a zetec s or civic ep2.

Belts were done by Fred last year so should be good.
