Clio Williams Engine oil

Hello,

Which engine oil do you use for a Clio williams?

Reg vardy suggested 10w 40 Semi synthetic Elf oil?

Should it not be a fully synthetic 5w 40?

What does people think of Silkolene Pro S?

the Pro S is supposed to be very good, but I've not tried it personally as it's pretty expensive.

I'm using the Elf Excellium 5w40 from Renault that they recommend for the 172/182s - seems good and is cheaper!

Semi will be fine for a standard williams.

Could also use the Elf Excellium fully

Elf oil is much dearer! I was quoted and have paid £58 and I've been told that elf oil is just average but this other oil is the bees knees? I can get it for £45 !

I'd use Miller 5-40 is not cheap £40 or so for 5 liters. However its the best oil I've ever used used. It takes some abuse superb stuff.
