ClioSport Festival 2016 - Book Tickets Now!

What Clio did you get? @Stockport Lee
@MrBlonde
I've got a 2009 200 Cup ( in white ) It's done 27,000 miles and is mint ( gearbox is also fine ) At the age of 42 and being interested in cars since a lad I thought I'd treat myself to my first ever NICE car. Amazed by the performance and handling, kept my motorbike in the garage today ( when it's sunny! ) and took this for a drive instead!

Little question recarding cameras on track...am I right in thinking we can't use suction cup mounts?

The marshals at oulton were OK with a 3m adhesive pad on my dash this year.

Although that was msv and not javelin.

Rule of thumb is secure them properly, I.e 'or sticky pads or suction cups and you'll definitely be fine

I seem to remember them not allowing suction cups last year. Wondered if it was the same this year.
If so I'll just run it on my helmet.

It just dawned on me that getting my track wheels, tools, beer cooler, food cooler and camping gear to fit in a Clio might not actually be possible.

I'm looking forward to brining the kitchen sink, last year in an MX5 I didn't even have room for a chair. Think yourself lucky with the size of a clio!

Love to give this a go, and half day track time also, but a 626 mile round trip, plus track time, I reckon it would stand me in £150-200 in fuel alone! Then theres the tickets and track time and spare bits for track, and I reckon I'd chicken out giving it a proper thrash knowing I need to get home again lol...

Do we change the location every year at all?

Trust me mate it's well worth the journey.

The problem with we have is trying to find another track that will cater for our needs.

It's something we may try and look into for 2017.

You should definitely consider trying to come up to Blyton this year though. I know it's a hell of a journey but I guarantee you'll have a good laugh.

I'm setting up a checkpoint on the entrance. All cars will be searched, and anyone found bringing fosters into the event, will have it confiscated.

Still haven't booked my tickets :(

I only had passenger rides last year but from speculating both on and off the track, everyone's manners were impeccable and showed each other a lot of respect, no maniacs or racing at all.

@OssPoop, I'll be doing the same, Saturday ticket and coming from Leeds, so not too far down the M'Way. We should convoy!

Looks like we'll get kicked out at 6pm.
