5 or 6 pm is fine. People can get access up to 10pm on the Friday and Saturday night. Any time after that and the gate will be shut.

I’m there from Thursday night, as are quite a few others. And will be at Blyton pretty early Saturday to make sure the camping heathens haven’t burnt the place down.

Fuel guys, if you are coming down from the north and want decent fuel, go via Scunthorpe. From the South, go via Lincoln. From the S/W, Via Doncaster. The West - Doncaster or Scunny.

Just wondering if there is a latest entry time on the Friday? The weather is going to be hot hot and driving a clio with no blowers or aircon for 5ish hours is sounding terribly unappealing. Wondering if it’s worth my while waiting until later in the day when it’s cooler.

Pretty sure there is a time when the gates are closed and you’ll get no access until Saturday morning. Also, if you are arriving after 9pm it’ll be getting dark so setting up a tent will be tricky…..any everyone else will be sh1tfaced

As above, you won’t get into the site after 10 pm on Friday or Saturday.

I remember some lad getting pulled by the marshals because he was going on track with a car full of crap included a jerry can with fuel in it.

Was that the guy in the white Renault 5?? The Marshalls were pulling out Jerry cans, a jack, oil…

It's looking unlikely that me and the wife are going to be well enough to attend on Saturday unfortunately.

I have a room booked at Scunthorpe Travelodge (about 20 mins north) for the Friday evening, I would like to offer it to @DaveDreads to start with as I saw he was planning on staying in the boot of a car. If it would be useful for you I'll fire over the booking info, I don't want anything for it.

If it's no good for Dave and another member will benefit from it then fire me a message and I'll sort out the info once Dave confirms.

I'm going to keep my tickets just on the off chance we can make it across for a while on the Saturday.
