cluch question (wanna know if mine is faulty)

HI, my car is in the garage at the moment getting some work does on the alarm and i have asked them to check the cluch

the problem i am having is its feels very sticky on the pedal after about 2 hours of driving, how i drove another 182 today and it felt like the cluch was 100% better, it was kind of like it has zip affect (if that makes any sence) but my one feels lumpy and sticky??

any 182 drivers out there that can tell me what there cluch is like??

182 driver only as i have driven other models of clios before and there different?!

Does yr pedal creak at all. if so try sprayong some wd40 on the moving parts of the clutch pedal. if not it could be yr release bearing in the gear box. if you have done alot of miles it may need replacing

yes sometimes it creaks and i have used wd40 stop the creak but not the sticky feeling, and its only done 9000 miles, the garage say its fine, but i dont think it is

Hi mate im having my clutch replaced in a couple of weeks the problems I have are exactly how you describe. (18k)
I notice it worse when im on off the bite moving the clutch pedal slowly whilst in traffic is very springy,creaky,sticky etc.. Or when im reverse parking etc...They said they will replace it for me 100% covered under warranty.
Spraying wd40 will not do anything it is the clutch that is the issue..
Things is mine doesnt do it all the time only seem to notice it more as the car has warmed up!
Im actually not expecting the new clutch to be much different coz of the design of them like for like and all that.
Id say unless its really bad probably not worth having it changed, maybe wrong though ill let you know when mine has ben done

yeah mine is the same, only when it has warm up it is worse!

what garage is changing it for you and what part of the uk are you?

Its right by the M25 not sure which junction though! I find them very good there not had any problems with them only good things, give them a call.. Not on MSN mate.
