Coilover question...

I am currently after a set of coilovers for my 1.6 16v mk2.

I wanted some Vmaxx ones (cheap and cheerful) but this will mean saving up for quite a while after recent holidays.

Some of those £180 jobbies have come up on ebay again, Rokkor I think they're called.
Should I get them or just keep saving for slightly better ones?

I have the Rokkor ones and I like them for them. I don't expect them to last as long as more expensive ones but what more can you ask for at that price. They go pretty low and do the job!

What's the camber like on the front? I heard you get crazy positive in some cases!

i put what i would consider to be quite alot of camber on and whilst the car turns like a beast a got through a pair of paradas in 3000 miles, its been put back to relatively normal camber now.

Did you have any horrible positive camber when first putting them on though?

Quite a few people bought them in a GB not long ago, they seem to enjoy them.

I had a passenger ride in one that was on these, ride quality was pretty good an this car was low.
