Coilover reviews

Right I'm one of the many people on here that is in the market for some coilovers for my car

The recent thread about the launch of racelands coilovers (http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=479216) got stupid with accusations all over the place, and rightly got closed

It's nearly impossible in there to find people who have actually bought the kit and what there opinion of it is

For the benefit of everyone else - if you have coilovers on your clio can you post up a little mini review in here please
NOTHING about the supplier, or prices, or delivery problems etc.. just a review of the actual kit

Previous setup : Standard shocks, eibach sportline springs
Review :
I found the v-maxx coilovers to be slightly softer, but with less body roll. Brilliant on track blah blah blah blah...

V-maxxs where way to hard for road IMO. Car handled amazingly on super smooth roads, anything else was a pain and had to go slower. ( now back to standard)

Our ASTs are the ones of FMPs old clio, and have been revalvled and run higher spring rates. The car is very good on track, since we ve fitted the AST top mounts and figured out how we like the car set up.

The supension is to hard for the road and is completely useless, the car is hard to drive on the road and very twitchy, this is mainly because our set of ASTs were never designed for the road.

Review :These feel perfect for the road not to hard , infact id say less crashy than the standered setup , handles beter than the prolines in my opinion

Review : All i can say is brilliant. Soften the dampers up on the road and copes fine. Stiffen them on track and transforms them. Love the kit.
