Coilovers! (non-sport content,)

Looks good that mate. Like it.

The 1.2's can be made to look really good. Set of Turini's, Pro Race 1.2's or something on there and it will look superb.

Looks great mate, really like it. Wheels look really good aswell, dont change them! ;)

Maybe space rear out a bit?

Yeah, i'm currently waiting on some spacers, they're taking their sweet time though! :rasp:
not sure i can go too far out on the rear - time for arch rolling me thinks

Height = spot on.

Nice car mate :)

Ahh, thanks Jason! I'm pretty happy with it too! :)

Defo made my mind up about getting these coilovers!

Do it! for the price, they're Mint! :star:

i was thinking 2118's or turbines, in white - go for a track sl*g look.... but i'm not sure that would work - more photoshop time needed!

Got some silver bullets and a black front diamond put on today.
these may not stay, i'm not sure i like...
Plus got a new style Renault badge on the way to replace the Clio one.
The little things make a big difference!

Have you needed anything else to get these fitted smoothly? as I've heard a lot of talk about camber bolts, not a huge issue just want to know before I got ahead!

looking good mate! im in the process of changing my white bits haha! theres a set of turbines up now in white, need of a refurb but you might be able to get him down on the price!

im getting my adjusters out the rears on sunday i think/hope! then the fronts going down another wee bit since the cambers sorted. if people think speedbumps are an issue you should have seen me getting my car on the ramps at kwik fit/ mcconechies and all the other garages i went to that couldnt be arsed to fit a tiny wee clamp after taking one look! splitter flexed all the way under the car and pinged back into place, was quite impressed it didnt just rip off!

you got the bolts in yet mate? as said, looks good!

i needed these badly but others havent so just wait till youv fitted the coilovers then see if you need them or not, no point in wasting 50 quid if you dont need it!

I haven't got mine in yet, and they're not bad.
obviously with the option to adjust more camber on, they're going to be much better!
i got mine from here :http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130383154842&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
far cheaper than K-tec!
Beware though, depending on your wheel offset, you may need spacers!
I need them for mine, but richybatt, for example, doesn't....
just something to bear in mind!

looking good!

Gone for the OEM look, i have done the same :)

It's the only way IMO ;)

:( haha. aye, might see about those turbines - the ones on the white 172 yeah? looked like they needed re-doing properly IIRC!, i'll have another look! Really fancy a pair of seats at the moment though, we shall see....
Not got the bolts in yet - i'm still waiting on a pair of spacers...

Thanks mate! :D
Think the rear has settled a little since these pictures - so it might be a little too low now
have a nice long weekend to maybe wind it up a bit though

Looks gd mate. Nice & clean.

I'd lower it more though, so its proper slammed. Not really cutting it the now for me

Aye, i know what yours is like fella! Proper slammed!

I have thought about some custom springs - not sure it would be too wise though, have to tackle speedbumps very regularly :(
Would love to be able wind it down some more though - so the sills are nice and level.

  Ph1 track 172
so how much do these coilovers lower by??

it says in the advery 60mm??

but you say 75mm with tread left!
im confused lol

  Ph1 track 172
spring companies rarely lower as much as they say, but most over state them,
cheers for clearing that up.
