Compbrake fixed mounts = new creaking sound

  ClioSport 172 Cup
Fitted a set to my 172 cup and now when im slowing down, the last 5mph or so as i apply the brakes i get creaking coming from the front of the car, not very loud but it is audible. Is this normal after fitting the solid top mounts? I did also kit the anti roll bar out with polyurethane bushes so you can imagine how tight the front suspension is now.
Is there anything I should check? I thought maybe it might be the shocks but they dont look like they are leaking.

i couldnt imagine the compbrake top mounts to creak just make sure the tight id say it would be the anti rollbar bushes you just replaced try waking loads of copper grease around the bushes and see if that helps :)

If the Compbrake mounts are fitted correctly there shouldn't be any way they should move and creak. Mine did when I didn't fit the appropriate spacers to start with, but no problems with them now.

Hi Yellodave,

I have all the correct spacers in etc and followed guides off here. I even checked the wheel and suspension for movement before i dropped the car back down and it was super rigid, zero movement. I guess it must be my anti roll bar making the noise then. I did apply some grease to the inside of the outer bushes but not the inner ones.
