Diy painting lol

Yeah sorry I just saw the above two photos and jumped to conclusions as it looks like a barn or something and quite a cloudy flat finish after.

But daves later photos show it isnt the case :up:

Spent alittle time down the work today plan was strip down the cup rear beam to swap onto the one on the car.

Remover stub axles and whiteline RARB but couldnt for the life of me find a 11mm spanner was going mad!

Need longer bolts for the stubs as im going to use 10mm spacers

Give the PMS exhaust a wipe over as will be going on this week :)

Spent alittle more time on the clio.

Swapped the rear beam for s low mile cup one with the cup stub axles also put 10mm 1 deg camber spacers on as i ad them kicking around.Removed the rear brake lines and levaler to swap for the cup lines (ABS delete)

I then fitted the b14s with adjusters and the whiteline RARB i ad a set of stud n nuts from another car i ad so onto some good rear discs only suffering surface rust still need to get some locktight for them. On removal of the rear calipers i could see i needed some rear pads so a small order to ECP grabed oil and filter while i was there in perp for the engine refit.

Gave the calipers a paint and the rear end a clean under the bumper and lights as the spider webs where doing my nut in.

Fitted the scenic shifter just to make sure all is good.

Last thing was bolt the secand hanger for the pms exhaust and the prima racing exhaust mount.

Thats all for now.

If it's still got the spongey stuff on get a hair dryer on it and carefully peel as you heat. Getting the glue off should be easy then.
Are you sure they're not holding the bumper together though? Who the hell uses that many to mount a bloody number plate??
