Cup racer front wheel bearing size ??????

  M3, Cup racer'd 182
I might be wrong but don't they run Laguna hubs?
If not you might be able to narrow it down slightly as my cup racer suspension was 65mm bolt spacing on the bottom hangers.

If it states that dimmension and it isnt, Why don't you take the bearing out and go to your local auto factors and try and match it up with a Renault part.
At least that way you'll know what hubs your running post back at let me know ;).

Have you spoken to Rsport's?

How about the mk2 laguna's

I supposed you've probably checked Evo but is there no part number on the hub which when put into renaults part system would show up what hub it is and also what bearing is required?

I've tried every renault I can think of that might be a donor. It's either a misprint (most likely) or it's unique

Measure up, I expect it's a 40x84x39.7

Pretty sure it will be the 2001 bearing, all UK cup racers were PH1 models orgionally so unlikely to be 2006 part.

Will confirm when i look tomorrow. Now its time to find out what wishbones it uses, Laguna / Megane etc...?

Don't they use normal 172/182 wishbones as they use a extended lower ball joint (no10) to give the camber they have.

Here's pics from a email i received from Rsport a few month back.

And by the 2nd pic the bearing size is 40/86/40 Part no 77 11 155 298

Sorry about the quality i'll forward the email to you if you want.

No,because the bolt hole spacing is different,if you tried to put those on a standard wishbone,it would need drilling.
It's just not for camber, the 'ball joint' towers are used to keep the roll centre to an acceptable level.

Just check properly and the Hub ID is 84 not 86mm so looking like Laguna ones, wont know which type until i get the old one out....

This is why we haven't gone for any of this stuff,it's all just such a confusing mix of parts, and can't be arsed with all that.

  M3, Cup racer'd 182
It was confusing me also the guy from Rsport when i was getting parts for the suspension.

Spot on with the size, thats the one after measureing it. Was a bugger to get of (well the remaining inner sleave on the hub after pressing it out - welding torch job)..!!

  Cup In bits
Dragging this thread up from the past, I'm needing some spare front bearings to be safe.

40x84x39.7 is Laguna mk1 right???? Which model of laguna, diesel, 2.0rt etc??
