In looks of performance - We can all see the "difference" but unless it makes real world difference - IE reduces lift at the rear , probably downforce even however small is negligible then i cant see the issue - or the huge price differences
Practically Over aesthetically , you can tell it looks better , but i dont want to put £200 quid into something thats not going to make any difference to the way my car does , handles or stops , to be fair i think the money will be best put into some solid top mounts , leave the spoilers to the buftys out there
Apparently theres a marginal difference in downforce between the standard/cup/trophy ones and the ironing board v6 trophy spoilers... i remember someone mentioning it on here but there was no proof and they look ridiculous on any car that will see a road
For that Very Reason - Quick Light FWD Drive cars are inherently nervous at the rear , you must have driven a 205 gti ?? - It not ALOT of downforce , just seeing if there were any real or obvious reasons that renault decided to fit the larger spoilers to the more focussed cars - if i wanted all out downforce , id flat floor it , create a rear difuser and stuff on a huge BTCC style rear wing like the Civics
Developing , for potential entry into Track day trophy - part of the thing i like it the fairly relaxed rules allowing you to see what works and what doesnt.
