Current Which magazine car report on the Clio...

GR7

  Shiny red R32

This is in the current Which? magazine cars report.

Renault Clio

Comfortable, smart and responsive - the Clio is a big car with a small body
more than meets the eye. Drivers were attracted to the Clio by its size - its fuel efficient and insurance costs are low.

Although the Clio is a small car, six owners praise the amount of space inside. The car is seen as ideally suited to couples and singles, but most drivers find it can take four adults comfortably when necessary, and all ten are pleased with the boot space. One mum says: Its brilliant... I can get the babys pushchair and my shopping in there as well - theres plenty of space in the boot.

Drivers agree that the Clio is a good all-rounder, though its seen as particularly good around town and easy to park.

Performance depends on the model you pick. There are more than 12 versions of the Clio, ranging from a basic 1.2 to a 3.0-litre V6. Nine out of ten owners are pleased with the performance and acceleration of the Clio. Those with the 16V are particularly impressed, but even those with the basic engine say its quite nippy. All ten are impressed with the handling and the brakes.

Although the number of features depends on the model, half the owners praise the high specification and think the Clio is great value for money.
The Clio has ABS brakes, four airbags, an immobiliser and remote central locking as standard on all versions. All ten drivers feel safe in the car, and the level of safety features prompts one driver to comment: I feel safer in this than I have in any other small car.

Five people have had niggling problems, though no mechanical faults. Nine out of ten would recommend the Clio to a friend.

It then goes on to say "One owner found his 1.4 16v to be faster than the 2.0 16v and another beat a Mitsubishi Evo" Im sure its all in there somewhere...

Does it mention "All ten owners darent leave their car at the dealers..."?

"One owner found his 1.4 16v to be faster than the 2.0 16v and another beat a Mitsubishi Evo"

LMFAO @ Matt good call.

2 Points here:

Fuel efficiency - obviously they never tested the 1.6 8v "economykilla"

Boot space - Maybe some shopping bags, but you cant fit a bassbox and a babys pushchair in the boot, Ive already tried!

Please note! Do not even try to get a dozen eggs in the boot of a V6
