Custom Lowering Springs - Coil Springs LTD

  Clio 172
Hi guys,

I have been recommended to use a company called Coil Springs Ltd for some lowering springs for my Clio 172, they are meant to be very good quality.

I phoned them today and they manufacture them to what ever size you require for £140+VAT which seems a good price if there decent and get the drop i want :)

Anybody used these before? http://www.coilsprings.co.uk/lowering.htm

Have all the sport lines got soft rear springs? Mine are stupidly soft, 2ton jack in the boot an I lose all arch gap :/

Ours arent like that, not sure why yours would be, we load ours up with a couple of sets of wheels and a jack and tools for trackday and even all that lot probably doesnt drop it as far as an inch.

Something's wrong with mine then.

Correct me if I'm wrong eibach sport lines for a DCI is red and Renaultsports black?

I like the 50mm lowness but it's getting annoying now as I cannot put tools in my boot without rear scrubbing

Ignore the chav shite on the website mate. Coilsprings are VERY good at what they do. I've used them for years and I get all my custom springs made by them. I use them on a track car and if they were no good I'd soon find out.

hmmm, one thing for certain the website does not help convince customers!! ha

I enquired at Prima Racing where they get there own branded lowering springs from and these are the people!

I like the handling upgrade and look of eibach springs and imo gives the front a nice drop but want more on the rear, esp being stripped i wouldnt feel satisfied! :/
I would love Eibach fronts and Apex rears that would be spot on i think :)
