Cyclone Blue Clios

Thort i would start a thread on here for people to post pictures up of there cyclone blue clios, as i have one and am slowly making simple mods to it.

Things i have done so far:
-RS Grill
-Silvertecs (front)
-Aftermarket Headunit
-Sub and Amp
-Window Tints.

Thins i desparately need to do:
-Get some alloys on it because my wheels are awful

Future plans:
- Colour code wing mirrors and side strips, with white writing on the bullets.
-Cup spoiler is on order.
-172 rear bumper.


so will look forward to see what other cyclone blue owners have done to their car so far.

That lloks mint mate, u need sum silvertecs on it though, i want a private reg on mine. its only done 4000 miles. well good, bought it off a little old lady. hehe

atleast you know if you got it off a little old lady it wont have ever been ragged or thrashed about and yes deffinately some silvetecs . cheers .

yep it certainly is, when i bought it off her in december itonly had 2500 miles on it. i was really impressed.

just needs to be lower (in my opinion of course)

Not a fan of cyclone blue at all though.
cant go wrong with 4000 miles on the clock. and as others have said, at least the granny wouldnt have thrashed it haha.

Thanks mate. Yeh i agree with going lower but my wheels are 17" and i often have people in the back. do you think i would get away with going 50mm? are there even springs that go 50mm with out having to buy shocks?

hmmm well dont get anyone in the back ? The cars for you and you only. Thats how i feel anyway. My car is for me, so no one else matters. Like my friends for example can get a bus instead haha.

You do get 50mm springs by a brand called Cobra. jungle Jim has them fitted on his Clio. he also has the same alloys as you. Personally i wouldnt recommened standard shocks with anything more than 40mm springs.

na honestly don't worry about it, i made the thread for owners of cyclone blues to post on it, i know mine isnt brilliant just yet but its a start if i am honest.

so keep posting people, and feed me with some ideas!!!

that reminds me actually i forgot to mention that the granny i bought the clio off now has a 53 plate 172, she is 71 years old aswell, fairplay to her though. hehe

ye there probably is, i see her driving it around sometimes, shud hear her pulling out of junctions, she likes to stay in 1st for a long time, and even keeps the clutch down. poor 172

Here's my old Cyclone Blue:
Full 172 conversion
Engine, Bodykit.1.2 side badges
They are old pics it was alot nicer towards the end of its life.
It had 182 anthracite wheels on and standard wing mirrors were back on.

Hey Walmsley..nice cyclone you got.....i think you should definately lower by 30mm...and colour code side strips and mirrors..
think a dynamic spoiler wud look good 2.
