Hi,
I have a 2000 Clio with a D7F engine and I have bought a new auxiliary belt which I am trying to replace. The problem is that the new belt is slight larger than the one in the car already. I believe tightening the tensioner pulley will take up the slack but I can't see how to tighten it. There is only one fixing on the tensioner, which is either a hex or star bolt in the center, this doesn't seem to have anything to do with changing the tension.
Can anyone advise how to tighten the tensioner pulley or do I need to get another belt that is the same size as the old one?
Thanks
