damaged alloy wheel repair

does any one no what constitutes a scrap alloy wheel . i have a set of 17 inch alloys which i ran a rock over in and damaged the rim ie an egg shaped bulge. most of the damage appears to be rim.
i also have 17 ich alloy on my 172 which has a hairline crack running from the rim a couple of inchs long down the back of the wheel. it doesnt appear to be damage just a crack.
if someone can tell me how to post pics i will. thnx

One that cant be repaired haha

Generally they can be fixed depends if you want to pay it though or how much you like the wheels as it isnt always cheap, They can be welded up and flatspots taken out on a machine

humour on a sunday?lol.
i have 2 sets of alloys i dont really like but thought would be cheaper to repair and use but im guessing will be 300 ish to repair and refurb so probaly better to chuck them. shame but there you go.lol
