Damaged Bilstein B14 Rod End (Torx)

  Clio 172 ph2
Hello,

I recently got a set of Bilstein B14 coilovers, but unfortunately, I stripped the Torx slot on the piston shaft rod end -- the part you are supposed to use to hold the shaft in place.

Now the shaft just spins freely, and I cannot tighten or remove the top nut properly.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Is there any way to fix it or maybe send it in for repair?

Thanks.

You could try tapping in a slightly oversized spline or allen key bit. If you split the thread your in for a world of pain though.

I personally always gun these off
