Dashboard removing

Just wondered whats the easiest safetest way to pop out my display unit. Mk2 Ph1 98 RN Just wanting to change to LEDs ..therfore is it as simple as popping the dials out and swapping the bulbs ova or is there more?

not sure if your dash is the same as the ph2 but if it is you'd better be good with a soldering iron!

Stupid question - but would a 2000 W Reg 172 be the same as a Mk 2 Ph 1 Clio 172 listed in the guide on Fubar?
