deal or no deal

Car  Trophy #473
Went to see a Vee today, been looking at it for a while, offered him asking price of 11k, but i'd want the cam belt doing, a full service and 6 months tax. he said no, so i walked away.
I think i was pretty reasonable. opinions? the car is Tidy, doesnt have a standard sterio tho and the drivers seat bolster is warn a little more than my 172's and that on 80k!? but thats all, good tyres and low miles.

Pretty sure you can get a mk1 for cheaper (with CAM done) tbh.

Can you not get another few £k and stretch to a mk2?

its from a garage tho, 3 months parts and labour, asked for 6 but he would do it. I think I'll just wait it out.

really want a Mk1 tho.

It seams ok but does need some money throwing at it.As said a better one will come along soon

the reason the bolster is more worn as its harder to get out the vee due to the extra kit on the door.

RLR are tighter than yer nans *****

RLR are numpties anyway! When I was looking for the RB they refused to let me test drive the one that they had in unless I put a deposit down on it first! :S
