you must be crazy to pay that!!! i wouldnt pay over £1,500. they really aint worth it dave! why don't you sell it and get a vts/106 gti or something, theyll be a lot lower insurance group wont they?

you're mean xxx
try elephant, they were good for me
And add your mum and dad onto the policy and see how much they help. Having my mum and dad on mine save me £150 last yr on a £700 premium. Its a big saving.
you're mean xxx
only kidding. you should get the street ka (then regret selling the 182 about 10 minutes later)xxx
It's because they presume that you (when you are young and liable to crash) will only be driving the car part of the time and so apparently there is a lower overall risk.it's stupid how adding parents reduces it SO much, you'd think the insurance companies would have cottoned on to this with young drivers!
i think i got mine a bit cheaper too as i drive another car being on my boyfriends company car insurance - not that i want to drive a merc SLK when i have a 182, i mean....come on!!!

^^ That saved me loads when I first started driving!

Same with mine though, I have the option to drive 2 other cars and so my insurance is the square route of FA

...you'd still want a ride.
*take a 10 month bonus accelerator policy out
*consider insuring it under a relatives postcode if it saves money, you could say you were living there at the moment
good luck and let us know!
LOL, so so rude on my innocent eyes.
i'm off to bed, back to work tomorrow after a week off i shall await your morning routinely text steven
I dont recommend that tbh. I did that when I was 17, had an accident and after the policy expired, I was left with technically 0yrs experience, 0 NCB and 1 accident at my fault. If you have a fault accident, you're bugger, only if you dont it will work for you.

Risky? Esp if its stolen from your own drive, cos they will try and fnd out where it actually is every night, I heard some of them have spied on ppl in the past! Cheaper than them paying out.
Maybe just try 3rd party, fire and theft for now or save like mad!
