Sealant or wax. What do you guys use?
Probably said before but at the moment I'm using Autoglym Polar Seal. For the effort required, its brilliant. Load 3 caps in your snow foam lance, spray on after you've cleaned and rinsed the car. Protected for circa 3 weeks. Done!Sealant or wax. What do you guys use?
Actually this is supposed to be really good.
Just ordered some. Seems like a nice easy spray on sealant. Ill compare it to autoglym polar seal to see how it fairs. Not that I need anything right now as my car is off the road awaiting partsThat’s for sale at about £5.50 at Euros at the moment - excellent value
I’ve seen great reviews of it, and at that price what could possibly go wrong?!Just ordered some. Seems like a nice easy spray on sealant. Ill compare it to autoglym polar seal to see how it fairs. Not that I need anything right now as my car is off the road awaiting parts
My thoughts exactly. £5.50 delivered?! It doesnt go off. Ill just use up what I have and then switch to this.I’ve seen great reviews of it, and at that price what could possibly go wrong?!
......im not a follower......or buy stuff cos its cheap......or that its posted on here.....ever........not me. nope.Ordered some, because follower of stuff to buy because cheap
Looks to be good. and mega cheap at £7 something on amazon. I just liked the idea of using C4 once and then its 2 years durability. Looks like im not gonna be getting my order of it!Sonax bsd on black cars, use it on the trims everything 😎
I've got exactly the same issue. I have done a we chat with Amazon a week ago and they said I will get it. They did offer to cancel the order but I said I want the item. Hope I get it. I checked and Amazon have charged me for it already.Has anyone still not received their 30ml bottle of C4 off amazon? Remember the stupidly cheap deal they did. Mines still not even here and it just says they will email me when its back in stock. Any ideas?
Well thats reassuring. You took the step I was going to do next - contact them. Im pretty sure ive been charged for it too which isnt really on. Any time before christmas would be good please Mr Amazon.I've got exactly the same issue. I have done a we chat with Amazon a week ago and they said I will get it. Did you go through the 'wait for an email' situation or did you just get in and order first?I got mine (I posted the offer).

Seems that way! Lucky you 😂. I'm just playing the long time hoping it arrivesJust order. I could have been one of the first to order.
Haha! That's a good point. Unfortunately it's the dreaded petrol station lights at night situation that grinds my gears when I see all the scratches and swirls. Thanks for the heads up. I'm used to detailing in a fluorescent tube lit garage so maybe it's time to dim them and get a warm colour lamp?No need to polish then! Nice!
On white and silver I prefer to use a warmer coloured light (more yellow) or, if you can, work in a dimly lit area or on a gloomy day as in direct sunlight it's fairly difficult to find swirls on light coloured cars.
Im not after concourse simply because its a car I intend to use!Ah brilliant, if you're working in a garage I'd get some spot lighting instead of the fluorescent tube lighting.
If you're not bothered about concourse levels of detailing you could probably get 85% of the swirls out by making a test spot and find a combination that'll get the desired result and just use that over the whole car.
Bit of a 'lazy' way to do it but it'll save you switching on and off your lights a thousand times.
Not sure what else I have that's less abrasive! I've got some SRP but unsure if that's less or more abrasive. I've also got a 1 step from autobrite that's blue in colour cant remember the name of it!
That's what I was thinking. I'm gonna give it a go with a medium pad and go from there. If I dont get the results I want, I'll up the pad. If I still dont get results then I'll look for another compound.SRP is mostly fillers and cleaner, not much correction so yes that's less abrasive but I'd just stick to the ultimate compound and medium pad and see what kind of result you get. If you're happy with the result, winning! And if you're not happy with the result you cab always try to pick up a different pad/polish.
