Detailing Chat & Questions Thread

Fusso or soft 99 dark would work.

Also really rate cloak by Mitchell and king
Can you really recommend Fusso to someone with it's iffy application, grabby etc. It's a good wax but I reckon there would be another 10 that I could recommed straight off the bat before Fusso ones.

You can't go much wrong at that price range.

If you want something that he might enjoy over the summer aswell to use... Zymol Carbon, prestige feel, lovely looking wax. Great Carnauba content.

@Rich treen and @Christopher always loved it also.

I found it really easy, even on my black golf

I used it. Its bloody hard to remove but it is bulletproof

Fusso sounds similar, application wise, to the Infinity Wax Synergy Wax I have. Utter b**ch to use but lasts forever and looks good. Acts like a ceramic too in regards to water.

Only issue is, it stinks to high heaven

Black cars suck ass.

What polish is best to use by hand for gloss black wheels to remove swirls light scratches?

Talk to me!

Worth getting a cone polisher attachment for drill anyone used one?

Cone polisher for a drill is just what you need, on ebay/amazon there are packs which have 3 cones with different softness cones.

Snapped up a new product to me on Detailingworld.

SiRamik Lustrous Graphine Spray Sealant.

Reports on there are bonkers. Spray, level with a damp mf towel, buff and then 12+ months of insane beading.

Really excited to give it a go on the BM. I dont get time to do my own car often now as im too busy doing others so the idea of an easy, long lasting product sounds appealing

Managed to take advantage of the dry weather today to give the car a good wash.

Bought a bottle of SiRAMIC lustrous graphene spray this week. So far have to say this stuff is mega! It’s certainly not cheap but the ease of application is phenomenal.

The gloss is amazing.

I dare say it will piss down later so should see what the water behaviour is like.

After an round decent compound that can be used with different paint, you know the holy grail lol.

So far my quick look choices with seemingly great reviews

Menz FG400
Sonax Cut Max

Ammo NYC guys wash technique of multiple micro fibre cloths is what I’ve been using for a while means you never get dirt in the bucket.

My mate swears by Angel Wax resurrect on a DA with a microfibre pad. Does it for a living and said there isn’t a better all rounder. 🤷🏼‍♂️

That’s what I’m going to try once I’m done with the Menz I had off you.
(Not that there’s anything wrong with what I use, but always keen to try stuff)!

Think the stuff off me was the 2500 med cut polish and 3800/3500 finishing.

The Koch h9 as a comparison blows them away but then it's designed to.

The more I mooch, fg400 seems to be a decent choice

Car was clean and it was to remove some light dust with it sitting out, It was more of a snow foam and rise.

Still looking to get a good snow foam, I have heard about Bilthamber but never used it.

I've got some of that polar blast and it didn't foam up like that, although I've just got the standard bottle on my Nilfisk.

Bilt hamber is very good. If you wanted a decent pre wash the power maxed tfr is great.
