I am getting my car detailed.
The guy has offered me Fusso 99 wax. I would rather use cquartz UK.

Reading up on Fusso, it does look good.....

Any thoughts?

Looking at buying some Auto Finesse Aqua Coat - used Hydro2lite before and I assume it's similar to this? (My 1L Hydro2lite has gone all cloudy with white bits floating in it - is it still any good lol?) Do you use this kind of product (aqua coat) after applying a wax paste/spray wax? I would likely do as follows:

Paste wax/creme wax (currently have bilt hamber finis wax/auto finesse radiance)
Spray wax (Zaino Z8)
Aqua Coat

Is this correct or am I going horribly wrong?

Aqua coat is a fantastic product !!

has anyone ever used kkd regloss. how did you find it?
I have used it a good few times. Its pretty good for hiding swirls and getting the car looking good. It doesnt last very long though. I got given it by the guy that owns KKD.

Fusso is perfect if you want long lasting protection which is very likely this time of year. It should last till spring. Its cheap last a long time but doesnt have a massive amount of shine. Check out forensic detailing channel on Youtube as he reviews it.

Ones is a wax and the other is a ceramic coating. Completely different product! If there was a choice I'd go for the latter.

C quartz it is then. His argument was it needs topping up?

But I have Hydro 2 and a neutral shampoo anyway...

As James said, Fusso's a sealant really, it just applies/looks like a wax. Smell it and you'll see what we mean!

CQuartz is cracking. Zero fuss if you just want to bang something on and forget about it. I've used UK before and it still beaded like a champ 14 months later.

Does anyone have any experience with other Hydr02-type products? It doesn't seem to last like it used to IMO. Almost like they've altered the concentrate.

Get 3 months ish out of Gyeon Wetcoat, if that's any use to you?

I just apply it every wash anyway.

I’ve just done my daily with AF aqua coat as it was cheaper than hydro2 which I usually use.
Beading seems similar but it smells a lot better kinda like an air freshener and it was a lot cheaper at £12 for a litre.
Will report back in the spring on how it’s performed.

Anybody use a pre wash over snowfoam?

I'm getting more and more fed up with snow foaming a car before cleaning. I'm using BH Autofoam and I've found it doesn't actually clean that well on a non protected car, it's difficult to rinse off and leaves marks if you just want to quickly snow foam and rinse to freshen up rather than a full wash. It's hassle getting it all set up too.

Was wondering if anyone used a pre wash instead? Be much easier to mix it up in a spray bottle and go round with that before contact washing.

Any recommendations on what pre wash to try?

Pre wash is a good product, although with a good snowfoam it actually isnt required!
BH has mixed reviews, although never tried it personally.
Whats your wash process?
What pre-wash are you considering?

All I'm wanting is something that will take quite a bit of dirt off before I touch it with the wash mitt, 2 bucket method etc etc.

Was looking at try the ValetPro Citrus Pre Wash.

Just been reading up a bit more and it seems people get good results from Auto Foam in a pressure sprayer rather than a foam lance.

I'll try that first I think as I've got a little 2l pressure sprayer in the garage.

Your best bet is to switch snow foams.
Where abouts are you based? We are Automotive Detailing Specialists and sponsor the Clio Sport Club.
If local, we can sort you a small free sample of our snowfoam to compare!

An Iron "Fallout" is something many have requested, and as all our products are handmade, its something in the pipeline (Currently with our test team around the country)
So later this year yes!
Although we dedicated extra care to our Citrus TFR and Wheel Cleaner to accomodate this!

What to get next after the das pro 6?.

It's been great with zero issues. What's the next step up after one of these and an affordable option?. Assume rotary....

Shadow sport I am interested in trying new products if you could provide a link or pm I am keen to find a decent snow foam to replace other things I have. Many thanks
