I haven't as I've used Gyeon Cancoat instead.

Applied 1 year ago and it's still going strong. Absolutely ridiculous protection.

Any views on its capacity to hide marks? My chimaera was recently washed by a specialist and I presume they used a scourer. Haven’t the time to fully correct, sadly.

Sorry i used Gyeon on a white car.
Infinity Wax do some good product's but their Facebook is run by fanboys , so everything they do is well reviewed.
My worry would be sealing it and not actually filling in well and then you are stuffed!!

I am crap at polishing and Scholl s20 was pretty easy to use on my car but it does take a few days.

@Gally might know more about Synergy.

It's decent. Imo they don't make a bad product, and I can guarantee they aren't rebottling s**t. I've watched Michael mixing the stuff by hand.

Hiding scratches. Most cars I've used it on have been pretty clean or freshly polished. Never thought of trying it on a bad car.

Car pro essence plus was best at hiding scratches and protection. Hard to find an all in one.

I love a bit of cleanser polish and built hamber wax. I even tried cleanser and then V2 can coat that Riz mentioned. Love that s**t. Lasts on every surface.

Lite lasted 18 months on my daily, to be honest it still beads 2 years on but it's notably weaker.

I'd get their 2 year coating now (and have done, just waiting to find time to apply)

Hey all.

I used glue to stick what i presumed was the arch liner that had come loose.

However it was in the dark and I’ve managed to get glue on the paint work which has now dried incredibly hard.

Any ideas how to remove this if at all possible?

Thanks in advance

Tardis or something similar solvent based I'd imagine would do.

Top tip, soak a makeup pad type thing with it and press it on as it might take a while to soak if the glue has set.

Tardis is by autosmart, which gets sold to the trade.

Think there are third part suppliers online, how genuine the product is though 🤔.

Have you got any used car places by you, maybe pop in and ask one of the lads.

Kettle of hot water, pour it on as slow as you can to let it get as hot as possible. It will then become tacky and the hard surface broken so you can attack it with WD40/white spirit/whatever you’ve got at home.

I don’t know if any of you have a steam cleaner, but this is the best £70 I’ve ever spent on a cleaning product. I’m cleaning bits of cars I’ve never been able to! It’s amazing.

Tried the hot water and WD40 trick but didn’t work. So used some compound and a micro fibre cloth and it’s removed some of it at least.

I’ll leave the rest it’s not massively obvious and it’s only a cheap run around anyway.

Cheers chaps

Chaps - Need a pump sprayer recommendation

Ive always used those cheap, under a tenner, standard pump sprayers. They usually last me a while and then randomly break - exactly whats just happened.

Ive got 2 Ik foam sprayers but I need a generic pump sprayer - ideally 1L+

Anyone got any decent ones they can recommend? Got a few valets booked in and really dont fancy going round the car with a hand sprayer!

Ik do a non foaming sprayer.

Can even pressurise it with an air line now on the new ones.

I use these and have done for years. The only time I’ve ever needed to replace parts is when I dropped it/stood on it/drove over it.
I get mine off a local guy that sells car cleaning stuff from his van. £45+vat.

Ill take a look. The IK ones seem to be dearer but maybe worth the investment for lifespan...

Dang, thats a beast!

I ideally need the smaller handheld ones tbh Dan. The bigger ones are ace for pre wash and the like but I tend to foam. If im going to use something like Surfex HD, ill generally just use it on the lower portions so having 6L capacity isnt exactly needed hahaha.

Above also recommended Ik so maybe ill have a butchers at those ones!

What about one of the smaller Kwazar ones?

I've had one of these and altough it wasn't suitable for my needs it was a decent hand pumpsprayer that could double up as a foam sprayer depending on the nozzle insert iirc.

Spent today making my valet bay out of scraps of wood and pallets.

Ramp, air line, all products in their place (sort of, still a work in progress as I’ve got bottle hangers on order)

can’t wait to start using it!

I’m surprised you use as much auto smart. Always find it average.

95% of what’s there was already there when I moved in. Tbh my Autosmart rep is so good and efficient (call him and he’s there within the hour) I may well keep going because I haven’t found anything s**t.
i need to buy a rupes now though. I’ve not got the time to be using a rotary and tbh the trucks don’t warrant it. Where is the best (cheapest??) place to get one?

Anyone using the Aldi pressure washer, Ferrex ( Link ) ?

My old Nilfisk C105.6 died and while looking for a new one, seen good reviews about the Aldi one, so I thought to give it a try. But, the 1st one that arrived couldn't maintain the pressure, and also the gauge on the lance will show only full power or low ( has 3 settings apparently: low/car/bricks ) , so I've sent it back.

Now the 2nd one does the same thing with the gauge on the lance, can't be set on the car 'setting'.

My question is : if anyone has this, is it possible to adjust the damn thing for the car setting ? I don't want to start taking the paint off the car.

If anyone spots any decent deals on Fallout remover - hmu.

Carchem's ebay page is doing 5L for £23.00 inc postage which i thought was very reasonable?

Also, theyve changed to trade only now which is a pisser as their old deals were incredible. not sure i like their sister company stuff (VP) as much...

Oh! Carchem BF deal just dropped.

I thought I wouldnt apply due to the silly 'trade only thing now' but I just got an email.

5L of Iron detox for £16.50 LOL

Worth waiting for!
