Diagnosing a faulty heater resistor pack

ive got a new resistor pack on order.

but ill try get the gel off and take another look

I had a similar issue on my Trophy. Turned out to be a blonw 30amp maxi fuse. Replaced it and fans work on all speeds - result. Thanks to previous posters for highlighting which fuse to check.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but..

Is there anyone that could explain how to fix my resistor pack, but explain it simply? or is there somewhere i could take it to to get fixed, I.E Maplins or somewhere?

Sorry :P

Bumping this old thread

My blowers are stuck on a set speed as of last night whilst driving home from work.

If I press the off button the blower speed increases and does not turn off.

I read on the first page this is the part number 7701051272 for the resistor pack

Is this still an available part?
I don't fancy the soldering a new transistor fix

Buy a good used one

For the sake of. 3 quid transistor give soldering a new one on a go.

Took me about 10 minutes to solder a new one onto mine.

I'll take it apart and have a nose to see if it's something I'm capable of
