Did a few more things to my clio ;o

  S1 16v 106 Rallye
Gmax rear shocks, phase2/3 rear boot strip, renault centercaps for my TSW's, painted drums and calipers blue, clio decals each side (some won't like, but I love :p) mini fire extinguisher on parcel shelf (;p) and erm.. painted up inner arches and stuff. Anyway, this is how it looks so far..

get it colour coded next and lowered properly, and not much for those decals lol, other than that looks tidy

I know a lot won't like it, because it's totally off the style most people on here seem to go for. I personally, have it exactly how I always wanted it. I'm not a massive fan of lowering it. If I was goign to, I wouldn't go any lower than about 10mm I don'[t think, which seems pointless :p

As for colour coding, I might do yeah. I don't like the RT bumpers. Too square. So I might just get mine professionally sprayed.

you've gotta lower it mate, otherwise you may as well have put range rover in 1 ft letters on the side...

its not that hard to do

i like the two diferent fonts used for 'clio' on the mudflaps.............

Is that a compliment or sarcasm? I seem to be finding it hard to tell if people are being serious or not on these forums compared to anywhere else.

Yeah. Only thing is though, I just spent out like £50 on the rear g max shocks, and I can't really lower the front and not the back, and I can't really afford new front and back right now. :/

back is a torsion bar, you only need the front springs, then just do the torsion bar.....well thats how it was with my valver

Cheers. By the way, you're not far from me. I'm in stafford. Got a few mates from up in cheadle/leek and my mum was originally from there. :p

Oh. In that case, I could. Which bar is that? o_O

Personnaly I would have put Clio dynamique or ph1 172 wheels on with really good rubber, lowered it, colour coded and got a 3.5" round rolled in exhaust and that would be all for the exterior. OIn the inside wither buckets and harnesses or Valver/Willy interior with a nice set of components up front, a sub in the back and no 6x9s in sight!

I only put the clio stickers on today :p took hours.

As for lowering, if it's possibl;e for me to low the back like someone said with the gmax's I have on, i'd consider lowering up to about 30mm.

As for colour coding, i'm not sure how much it'd cost for the front and rear to be done though. They'd need to be scored etc wouldn't they?

there located behind black platsic caps, you'll seem em when u take your rear wheels off, theres two (one on each side), you need to make a removal tool out of a big socket, some all thread and a few nuts and washers, dont worry about specifics theres plenty of guides out there, but basically u remove the bars then jack up the rear beam and bang the bars back in, and it lowers the rear....its pretty simple really...just read up on everything well before u start and do all the preparations and you wont find it too hard

Well keep your bullshit comments and poor attempts at insults to yourself. I'm not here to be made fun off for f**k sake. I was after some constructive criticism and comments which I have from a few decent members. I don't need s**t from the idiots on here.

I'm starting to think the £15 I spent on this membership and rear sticker was a waste of money.

RELAX :star:

I get some nasty comments about things I've done to my car too, but hey - I'm not the only one :nono:

Your car looks tidy, honestly some things not to my personal taste but then its YOUR CAR at the end of the day.
You might even make a few changes yourself further down the line

My advice would be
See what way you can get the car lowered all-round (about 30mm)
Bolt your extinguisher to the passenger footwell, half-under the dash maybe would be cool
Make a stealth parcel shelf for your 6x9s (I'm only guessing you have a set) and upgrade your front speakers for better sound quality

If you do decide to get a sub in your boot - sell your 6x9s!

Hope this helps

i could do something with that car... colour code it and whack on a 16v front bumper, bonnet, arches, and while im at it some turbines or phase 2 rims.. i think the best thing you can do with a lower spec car is make it a replica rather than what most people see as a chav'd/boy'd up 1.2/1.4..

a girl on here has a green 1,2 with a 16v front end on it and it looks really good, the only trouble is the 16v bumper wont go on as its to wide..

although, to be fair, it only needs tidying up.

remove those bloddy stickers, lower it on a decent set up, some mk1 172 wheels and decent tyres (as said above really)

...maybe a valver conversion for the front end. job done. i think those mods would suit the white too.

I think you've got a good base to work on there buddy!!

I would get some clear side repeaters and get rid of those badges around them!!

I wouldn't personally have the stickers but its your preference!!

Cheers,

Dumpy
