DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 172 CUP SHOCKS AND FF

Is there any dif between these shocks? need a new front 1. started putting the sportlines on yesterday, did the back 2 no worries, then front pas no problem, then guess what! front driver 1,the top turret nut was cross threaded big time . ruined 4 allen keys.. eventually got it off and the threads knackered completly on the shock and the pistons marked to bits, looks like sum1s had ago b4 me. stuck in the garage now,

Yeah the 172cup and 182 cup packed shocks are different.

wheres the best place and price to get a new 1? shud i get a pair?

Reanult, £50ish, yeah best to replace in 2s.

BTW if you mean ff as in a normal 172 (wrong useage) they are the same fitment.
