Dimma Clio Insurance

Hey peeps,

Spoke to my Insurance company, and they want £1300 to insure the Dimma, im 20 with 1 years NCB, been driving for 3 years.

My 5 Turbo was £850, but the company im with wont change to the Dimma! So that means i have to cancel and start again?!?

Anyone know any good companies for such a specialist car??

dont go with Flux, in the event of a claim they wont give you anythin back, they wanted to give Nick Hill £800 for his Clio with the 1.6 megane conversion, and take the car off him too

Well - just spoke to Adrian Flux, theyll do it for £1028.50 which is pretty good really!!!! Anyone else worth trying??? Liverpool Victoria dont seem to like Mods, and Performance Direct want £1500!!!

as my cover only went up by £50 after i quoted all of my mods, get a proper quote and see what they say

Tescos was my best. Used Performance Direct for past 6 years on my old Golf GTi 8v (£447) - their renewal on my 172 was over £600!

Tescos came in at £477 including the missus as named driver.

But then again Im 32 with 7 years NCB which "kinda" helps...! Old gits advantage eh?

Just got offered it at £985.00 with Bradgate!!!!!!!!!!

Quite happy with that, saved £1315 with two phone calls, the question is where do you draw the line??

Just say £900 all in, when you reach that mark take it, otherwise the phone bill will keep on growing!! Try Adamson insurance on 01622 752222 think that is the right number generally good at beating quotes.

ill suggest it to you too as they did mitsi a good deal HIC 08451 290 290. they deal especially with mods etc...........try them.
