I've been accused a few times by the other 2 for concentrating on the way it looks rather than how it performs.... but it performs now, so it's had a good bit of decoration!

I'm glad you went for yellow and not green like us! We started originally painting things yellow and then changed our minds. Make sure you litter it with colour though..... it's not a race car if it doesn't stand out!

Bit more progress today and now only the roof to do, Sponsor decals have been measured and ordered, should be here by the end of the week.

Looks good, WD-40 colours always look the part, a few highlights of red in places would look good.

Did you manage the bumper in one piece? I'm swaying towards wrapping now for ease of repair, not paying for it to be done though.

  clio cup
Yeah, every panel was done in one piece, The bumpers were actually quite easy,
The blue was meant to be darker and didn't like it at first, but as its all come together Ive grown to it

Might buy a sample and give it a go, save on painting my FG stuff. Did you buy a good brand? Something like 3m?

  clio cup
your not laying a carpet fella, lol

I bought 12 meters thinking it would be enough and ran out with the roof left to do, So I would say order 15 meters, it comes wide enough for the door and quarter drops.

Hahahahaha lol i'll need it I'm not so confident in my skills from past stickering experience. I'll get someone that's not colourblind to choose a few contrasting colours and get some samples ordered.

My Entry has been sent off for Oulton Park on the 28th, so no going back now, I'll have a couple of really good mates with me that have been involved in race car preparation for some years to help me on the day.
The Wife and kids are staying at home as its a 5 hour trip with the trailer, Not too happy about that but needs must, lol

As for the car, I think its ready! I'll only find out on the Friday which I have booked the afternoon test session there, Here is a pic of the car as it is now.

If I can get consistant 2.00's in the dry first test out I'll be ecstatic james but I doubt I/it will be that quick straight away, I haven't driven more than a few yards yet never mind know how it handles! Will be good fun if there's a few clios out there though.

Nice build mate.

A couple of questions...

Did you paint the inside with rattle cans or a proper paint gun set up?

Also I like how neat your loom is going along the lefthand sill. Where did you get the plastic piping and p clips from?

Thanks George

  clio cup
Alright George, Thanks

The interior was done in 2k paint with spray gun, Loom covers and P clips are from a place called car builder solution, They do all kinds of stuff for kit cars,

I may see you there then mate. Oh, and you'll have a chance to nick mine if James notices you trying to get his off! Mine will be in the carpark. The transit van parked next to it will be the security team. Lol
