Disc Brakes conversion.

  FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU
How easy and cheap is it to convert the drum brakes on a Mk1 1.4 RT to disc brakes? and how easy is it, possible to be done by a begginner or a cheap proffesional job?

16v beam will not fit - as someone said above you need an RSi rear beam as teh 16v is too wide for the RT body. IMO it's not worth it as it won't making a major difference to braking performance. Best bet for improved braking would be to get 16v brakes on the front. You just need the calipers, carriers discs and pads.
