Im guna go apply the s**t soon, so whats the best way, ive just remembered ive got some meguirs foam applicators. I prefer using the Microfirbe ones to apply polish, but would it be best to use the foam ones. They might be covered in bumpercare stuff though so mf might be the only option.


Do i get the applicator, and work the wax in a circular motion and then apply ? not sure what to do really. Ill be washing and polishing and then applying egp first.

Foam applicators are all i use for wax. The megs ones are fine.

I wax in lines, the dodo juice is very easy to apply and layer. Apply as thiny as possible. Bring the wax inside to warm before you use it.

As above - it will stain the foam hand pad in use so dedicate one to Dodo duties ...

Its all about foam pads lol. I do straight overlaping lines one way, then over again vertically to ensure 100% even coverage.

I normally leave waxes to cure for about 10 minutes at least.

Right ill leave it for 10 mins after applying it, when buffing is there anything i should know. ive got the der wunder buffing towels now btw arent i clever.


OK. It took me about 3 weeks to get rid of the shitty wax the stealership used, was streaky as hell.

just let it cure dont have to be 10 mins may take longer may take less time ,

you will see a change in the hazing,

what wax did you go for?

One thing to know is you should leave it 24 hours after applying the EGP before you wax.

okay. goes on a LOT easier than i expects mind you i had it sat on the radiator for about 30 mins.

The EGP wont set up and bond properly unless you let it cure ie if you top it with wax to early. May as well have just gone SRP to Wax and skipped the EGP.

aye it was raining when i washed it, but i have a garage so i shove it in there lol.
