Audi (R)S2, 1.6 16v
I ordered a dogbone mounting for my 1.6 Dynamique from Renault and it was a whopping £11.26! Yes, eleven pounds and twenty six pence. Even the parts guy was surprised. Nice.
At the time, I asked about the dogbone off a 172 ph.2 and it was about £37+VAT... so I passed on that one.
Now, the one on the car at the moment is the design with the oblong bushes but the one I've been supplied looks identical to the 172 mounts I've seen, with the round bushes suitable for the poly bushes that Powerflex supply.
The part number I've been supplied is 8200151995B, so is this in fact a 172 mount? If it is, then you may be able to get a rather nice 75% discount on dogbone mounts at the mo from the main stealer by buying one for a 1.6. Nice. And if not, then you can get a brand new frame to convert to poly for less than the cost of a secondhand one off a 172.
