drivers seat not sliding when reclined

passengers seat is fine, drivers seat (172 sport leather/alcantara) doesnt slide when reclied forward via release lever, only moves on the runners if i physically move it via the seat base handle...

any ideas?

Theres a cable afaik that connects to the sliding mechanism which acts as a release switch.

My guess is you've not connected it up when fitting the seats?

That's what there was on cup seats anyway.
