Driving Style 172 to 182 With Cup Pack

Just got my new 182 and am loving it loads, but is it just me or is the overall ride in the car completely different to the 172.

Obviously the suspension is a lot harder but when I took a long sweeping motorway corner (M62 / M606) the 182 felt just kinda weird...!! I definately did not feel that usual level of "sticking to the road" kind of feel..!!

Am I just imagining all this or is it a case of just getting new to a new car???

I went from an 03plate 172 to a new 182 with cup suspension.

It was worlds apart, gave me far more confidence in the car.

Give it a while and soon you will think the 172 was bad in comparison, even though it too was a cracking car! :)

Brand new tyres never feel quite as good as the previous ones until youve worn them in a bit. The 182 will ultimately be better.

both my 172 cup and my 182 felt weird, like they were twitchy and would throw you off the road, i dont think it would have as its probably just the car giving you feedback through the special stering rack , but it always made me cautious
