Easy way to change Indicator Bulbs!?

  Focus, GSXR1000 & R6
Hi guys,

Just fitted some silvervisions to my ph1 1.4 clio, passanger side easy 20secs as expected, but the driver side one jesus, air conditioning pipes on the way and could not get my hand in, took me about 20mins!

Anyone know an easier way to change them!?

Not easy when you have normal man sized hands. Unless you have skill with big hands.. hand backflips, summersaults and breakdancing etc..

that was my problem, i could just about touch the holder but just could not get a good enough grip to turn the holder!

it was one where they got an aa man or something to do it and you have to remove like a plug in the wheel liner and get ur hand up and to the bulb that way, right pain by the looks of it!

Yea thats it, wheel on full lock take out the flap in the arch liner, take the plug off the bulb undo the clip pull out the bulb and replace in reverse piece of cake tbh

LOL, couldn't believe the trouble I had on my clio, drivers side was a nightmare with the air con pipes. PH2 are much easier

some cars it is quicker and easier to get at it from the wheel arch or just to take the headlight out!

The only thing that did help was at least the air con pipes where cold! :approve:

Did think about taking the headlight out but not sure how big a job that was!

ARGH DRIVERS SIDE!!

I struggled for over an hour on some stupidly hot day in the sun. I even tried taking the front off so i could pull the whole headlight unit out. (some screws were weathered so i had to refit the front back on).

Just as i was about to give up my girlfriend came out and did it first try.

Long story short, girly hands can do it no problem.

P.S. The sidelight bulb is equally a ballache.

lol dont know how happy the gf would have been if i had asked her to do it, im just hoping and praying sidelights do not go now!!
