Eibach 2011

Not the best filmed or produced but the biggest Honda meet on the planet to my knowledge so plenty of car content.

yeah just cant seem to find anything that is worth buying, do you know of any good importers that are uk based companys?

In all honesty I struggled finding mine, it took best part of a year. Depending on what you're looking for and whether colour is a big factor or not. There were a couple of clean 9's about but silver or black the white ones I viewed weren't quite right. Don't get me wrong mine isn't concourse but I'm seriously picky and felt it's as tidy as I could expect given the age these cars are now. What is it you're looking for specifically? For the record I passed on cars imported by a couple of respected importers that were well regarded on owners club forums.

im very picky as well, im looking for a jdm dc2 in cw but havent viewed any cars yet as i havent seen anything worth viewing. I think i need to sign up to the teg forum and see if anything is on their.

What's your budget? If you can stretch really you want a 98 or later for the better spec (easy to spot as they've got 5 stud wheels not 4 stud) no mention in that ad of undersealing and it's been here 2 years so the potential for it to be a mess underneath is there.

i was looking at that one the other day looks like a good buy, only problem is its just too far away from me :(

Sometimes you have to travel when you're looking for something that's not in huge supply. It's worth it to end up with a decent car, nothing stopping you calling/mailing the seller asking a ton of questions and getting plenty of pictures of the car if it is a bit further. It's normally enough to get an idea whether the trip is worth seeing it in person.

I used duncan at fast jap cars, renowned for selling imaculate ek9's, he also sourced my mate a super clean S15. Expect to pay for the high quality though! Great bloke, very genuine!

i travelled from stirling to just outside london for my ek9 i bought from him

That ek9 has been on sale for about a year which would make me question why it's not sold. A few things put me off even bothering to look but if it's nearby and in your budget if you've the time to spare there's no harm going and taking a look.

I'm local to the one Si posted mate. If you emailed him and were happy. I'd go see it for you.

I'm a damage repair expert so plenty of knowledge on that front.

The offer is always there if there is anything close to me up here.

I travelled from Edinburgh to london/reading to pick the FRP up.

Luckily it was a forum car so I knew the history of it.

No idea why it's so cheap for a 99...

And that integra, i'm tempted to buy that myself and have it as well as the ek9! less than 40k miles, oaft!!

@ merk. Me too! Straight swap for the FRP! ;)

S2k's don't do much for me. Nice drive though.

cheers for that offer dude really do appreciate it. The problem is that i have to take my dad with me to drive the car back as insurance is too much until september when i turn 21, i may even wait till september as i can have a better budget and then i wouldnt have to take my dad with me so i wouldnt be limited on where i could travell, but if i change my mind or anything like that ill let you know dude cheers ;)

Pics are poor and despite being on sale for the best part of a year he's not replaced them with better. No shots of the interior or under the bonnet (might hint that it's a mess in the bay and the interior is hanging).

The interior has been messed about with (buckets and wheel aren't original) mentions being the first owner in the UK and yet doesn't state the import grade which is usually a good indication of the condition.

Also it's not advertised on EK9.org despite having a sticker in the window for the website, seems odd it wouldn't be listed on there as it's free to do so. Then there's the gash bonnet, lol.

looks like it will probably be more hassle than its worth lol do the import grades work like this... grades in 2 ways (a b c d) or (1 2 3 4) from what i know if its a grade 4 it will be a good one and a grade 1 a bad one. May be well wrong? lol

yup letters and numbers numbers for exterior letter interior a 5A would be basically a spanking new car. Realistically you'd expect 4B to be the best you'll find.
