eibach sportlines - which way round?

just recieved a set of sportlines (cheers Daz_RT_04 )

I see these are progressive springs (well the fronts anyhow), which way round do they go? is the part of the springs where the coils are closer together at the top or bottom?
and am I correct in thinking for the rears it doesn't matter?
